Pernod Ricard’s Irish Distillers division has revealed a refreshed look for its Jameson whiskey brand.
The updated bottle (below) will roll out globally from the end of July across all formats, including 70cl, 75cl, 1L and 5cl. To mark Jameson’s 50th anniversary at its Midleton home, the revised label features the line: ‘Crafted for Smoothness at the Midleton Distillery’.
Additional changes include a brighter colour palette, revised logo and enhanced tactile features, while the liquid remains unchanged.
Irish Distillers said the redesign marks the start of a “broader brand evolution,” with further updates to the Jameson range expected later this year.
Earlier this month, Pernod Ricard divested two Irish whiskey brands: Clontarf and Knappogue Castle. The transaction came barely 24 hours after the Jameson owner announced the sale of grain whisky Imperial Blue to Tilaknagar Industries in India.
