Stock Spirits has promoted from within for its next CMO, two weeks after Global Drinks Intel exclusively reported on their predecessor’s departure.

Anne Martin (below) has moved up from her current position as the global marketing director for the group’s Clan Campbell blended scotch to take on the wider remit. The appointment follows the departure of Nicolas Mazuranic this month after two years in the role.

Anne Martin

Martin brought down the curtain on her 25-year career with Pernod Ricard at the end of 2023, having worked in markets including Australia and Canada before heading up the marketing operations for the Havana Club rum brand, from mid-2020. Her switch from Pernod Ricard to Stock Spirits mirrors that of current CEO Jean-Christophe Coutures, who left the former to join the latter in 2022.

“[Anne] is a proven marketing leader with a deep understanding of international brands and consumers, and her experience across mature and developing markets makes her well positioned to lead our global marketing strategy and help drive growth across our brands and markets,” said Coutures.

“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Nicolas his contribution to the business, and the energy he brought to the role. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Stock Spirits acquired Clan Campbell from Pernod Ricard in mid-2023.
