Maison Ferrand has unveiled updated packaging for the core expressions in its Ferrand cognac portfolio.
The new design for the trio – 1840 Original Formula, Ambré and Double Cask – is part of a “global refresh”, according to a statement. Changes include a wooden stopper, a hammered glass bottle and label designs that “pay homage to the past”. The liquids are not set to change.
The family-owned company, which was founded in 1989, said that in the US, the packaging will roll out from next month.
Last year, Maison Ferrand changed the name of its Plantation rum brand to Planteray. With an ABV of 40%, the coconut-infused extension went on sale in markets including France, the UK and US as well as across the Caribbean with an SRP of EUR45.99 (US$50) per bottle.
In November, the company launched the fourth bottling in its namesake brand’s Renegade series of cognacs.
