CVH Spirits has moved its company headquarters from the town of East Kilbride on the outskirts of Glasgow in Scotland, to the city’s centre.
The move, which has been completed this month, sees around 30 employees across the finance, HR, IT, marketing and “commercial functions” move to the new office in Kintyre House. The company’s production, bottling, blending and warehousing operations will remain at the East Kilbride site.
“Our move into the heart of Glasgow marks an important milestone for CVH Spirits and for the continued development of our world-renowned brands,” said CEO Ronan O’Rahilly.
“There have been well-documented challenges across the whisky industry over the last 12 months, but we are taking a long-term view and continuing to invest with confidence. This new, refurbished city centre space gives our teams an environment that reflects our forward-thinking, commercially focused approach, commitment to the trade and our ambitions for growth.”
Founded in 2023, CVH Spirits was previously part of the Distell Group but was spun out as a standalone business when Heineken purchased its former owner. The company oversees scotch brands including Black Bottle, Bunnahabhain and Scottish Leader and employs around 300 people across the UK, EU and Asia.
Last week, CVH’s European unit announced it had signed a distribution deal in Austria with MyDrinks Austria, which will take over from current partner Rudolf Ammersin.
