The head of international operations for India's Radico Khaitan has told Global Drinks Intel that the spirits giant does not expect to secure a scotch whisky distillery in the near term.
In late January, Radico Khaitan set up a wholly owned division in Scotland through which the Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) producer said it intends to buy a distillery of its own. The details were included in a formal filing with the BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange).
