Terroirs et Vignerons de Champagne has named Eric Potié as its latest president.

Potié (below) succeeds Véronique Blin, who chose not to stand for re-election after serving 13 years in the role, the group confirmed this week. The newly appointed president has extended his career with the company, having become a director in 2009, followed by the positions of secretary and VP before taking on his current role of first VP 13 years ago.

The Nicolas Feuillatte brand owner said that Blin made an “essential contribution” to helping the company become the third-largest champagne group. She led the business through the merger between Centre Vinicole – Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte and Coopérative Régionale des Vins de Champagne in 2022, alongside the acquisition of two additional brands.

TEVC’s other brands include Castelnau, Abelé 1757 and Henriot, the latter of which was acquired from Artémis Domaines two years ago.

In March, Piper-Heidsieck owner Européenne de Participations Industrielles appointed former Terroirs et Vignerons de Champagne GM Stéphane Decaux as CEO of the champagne brand and business.
