The Coca-Cola Co has launched vodka-based versions of Minute Maid lemonade and pink lemonade in its latest push into beverage alcohol.
The two premixes join the Minute Maid Spiked line that debuted with a wine-based variant in late 2023. Subsidiary Red Tree Beverages (RTB) said the new products will be available in the US in 35.5cl cans, as well as in eight- and 12-packs, with a 5% ABV.
The release represents the “first nationally available vodka pink lemonade in the alcohol ready-to-drink format”, according to RTD.
“Building on the success of the 2024 launch of Minute Maid Spiked Flavoured Wine Cocktails, our latest additions from Red Tree Beverages are our no-fizz Minute Maid Spiked Vodka Pink Lemonade and Vodka Lemonade products,” said unit president Lou Grill. “For Minute Maid Spiked, our motto is ‘No Fuss, No Muss. No Duh,’ which is about making hard-to-make cocktails easy and enjoyable.”
RTB partners with third-party alcohol manufacturers to produce alcoholic beverages that use The Coca-Cola Co’s trademarks and are distributed by independent wholesalers.
Brown-Forman and Pernod Ricard are two major beverage alcohol businesses who have worked with the soft drinks giant to launch alcoholic RTDs in recent years, including a co-branded Sprite and Absolut vodka release.
