Suntory Global Spirits has offered a high-end consumer experience alongside the launch of an ultra-premium iteration of its Bowmore single malt.
The trip, titled ‘Rarity Defined’, combines the purchase of a bottle of Bowmore 1965 (above) with a two-day visit to Scotland, including private tastings, distillery access and accommodation. Priced at GBP28,050 (US$36,800) for two guests, the package includes a stay at Mar Hall Hotel near Glasgow, travel to Islay, a private tour of Bowmore Distillery and a dinner featuring distillery-exclusive whiskies.
The single malt expression was distilled in 1965 and aged for 52 years in ex-oloroso sherry casks, although the ABV level was not immediately available.
In July, the brand owner established new offices in London and Glasgow as part of a wider investment in its UK operations.
