Suntory Global Spirits has established new offices in London and Glasgow as part of a wider investment in its UK operations.
The move comes after the company launched its standalone UK commercial business in February, taking direct control of the marketing and distribution of its spirits portfolio in the country. The new London office (below) will serve as the in-market headquarters for Suntory Global Spirits’ commercial business.
The site, which features a bar and tasting room, will house around 100 employees across sales, marketing and corporate functions. While Suntory has long had a corporate presence in London, the latest site in the capital consolidates its UK commercial operations under one roof for the first time.
In Glasgow, the company has opened an office on West George Street for its approximately 50 corporate employees in the city. This site complements existing offices in Springburn and expands the group’s presence in Scotland, home to owned whisky brands including Auchentoshan, Bowmore and Teacher’s.
Suntory Global Spirits now employs around 550 in the UK across its distilleries and business operations.
