Rémy Cointreau has recruited from outside the organisation for the next CEO of its global travel retail (GTR) operations.

The brand owner confirmed earlier today (21 May) that Carlos Radulovitch will assume the position at the start of July. Radulovitch (below) joins the group having spent the last 22 months on a “gap year”, according to his LinkedIn profile.

His experience lies in GTR rather than beverage alcohol: From 2023 to 2024, he was CEO of Ted Baker, prior to which he was CEO of Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works.

While details of where incumbent Fida Bou Chabke, who has held the GTR reins for the last three years, is moving to were not disclosed, a company spokesperson has told Global Drinks Intel that she will take on another post within the organisation.

“We truly believe that Carlos’s extensive knowledge of the travel retail channel and proven track record of delivering growth will facilitate the transformation of our GTR business and help our valued partners to grow faster with the Rémy Cointreau portfolio in both the short and longer term,” said group CMO Ian McLernon.

In results for the 12 months to the end of March, which were announced late last month, Rémy Cointreau finished flat in sales terms after two consecutive years of sizable top-line declines.
