Australian alcohol-free RTD Naked Life has been launched in the US by Molson Coors Beverage Co.
Five cocktail-themed variants – Cosmo, Gin & Tonic, Margarita, Mojito and Negroni Spritz – are now on sale nationwide “in major retailers”, the company said today (15 May). The brand is also available to purchase through its own website and on Amazon.
Founded in 2016 by David Andrew, Naked Life claims to be the top-selling non-alcoholic cocktail brand in Australia. The domestic portfolio also includes Passion Martini, Pink Paloma, as well as Spiced Caribbean and Canada Rye Dry & Limes.
“We’ve been watching the non-alc RTD space for quite some time,” said Molson Coors’ VP of non-alcoholic beverages, Kevin Nitz. “Naked Life ticks all the boxes. Whether relaxing beachside or attending a cocktail party with friends, it’s another way to give consumers a choice when they are choosing not to drink but still want to be part of the occasion.”
Earlier this year, Molson Coors made another notable non-alcohol move when it acquired a minority stake in premium mixer business Fever-Tree, labelling the investment as a “significant step” in growing its non-alcoholic portfolio.
