Tennessee-based craft spirits producer Company Distilling has appointed Cassie Halley as its CEO.
Halley (below), who joined the American whiskey business in February to lead marketing and retail operations, steps into the role with immediate effect. She takes on responsibilities previously held by co-founder – and former master distiller at Jack Daniel’s for Brown-Forman – Jeff Arnett.
Prior to Company Distilling, Halley held senior marketing and operating roles at Little Arrow Outdoor Resort and has a background in hospitality, brand development and organisational systems. As CEO, she will oversee strategy, operations and brand development across the company’s three Tennessee distillery locations.
Company Distilling was founded by Arnett and entrepreneur Kris Tatum, and produces a namesake bourbon as well as Ghost Rail Tennessee dry gin.
Late last year, US distribution major Republic National Distributing Co named Marc Sachs as its permanent CEO following a near-ten-month search.
