UK-based Ellers Farm Distillery has acquired Bramley and Gage, the owner of 6 O’Clock Gin, for an undisclosed fee.
The Dutch Barn Vodka owner has bought 100% of the shares in the Bristol-based business. 6 O’Clock Gin will join Dutch Barn Vodka and Y-Gin in Ellers Farm’s portfolio, while the distillery is also ageing an English single malt whisky.
6 O’Clock’s core London Dry retails at GBP39 (US$52) per 70cl, with the range also featuring sloe gin, flavoured expressions and gin & tonic RTD cans. Bramley & Gage also produces a variety of flavoured liqueurs, including coffee, limoncello and amaretto.
In 2022, comedian Ricky Gervais acquired an undisclosed stake in Ellers Farm and featured in a marketing campaign last year. In March, the distillery appointed Opici Wine & Spirits to import Dutch Barn Vodka into the US.
