Bladnoch Distillery has signed a distribution deal with Cognac-based Maison Villevert in France.
The three-year arrangement will aim to expand the scotch whisky distillery’s “core portfolio” into new markets and accounts across the country. The change of partner sees Maison Villevert succeed domestic spirits distributor Dugas.
The Lowland distiller’s whiskies, which include a twinned cask, a double matured and a peated range, are now available in more than 45 markets worldwide, including the UK, the US, Australia, France and Taiwan.
Bladnoch’s partnership with Maison Villevert, which commenced in March but was confirmed this month, follows the appointment of London-based Enotria&Coe as the company’s UK distributor in February 2024 as well as an ongoing partnership with US distributor Twenty20 Beverages, established in the same month.
Last year, Villevert penned a distribution deal for France with celebrity gin brand Renais, co-owned by Harry Potter actor Emma Watson and her brother, Alex.
