Mark Anthony Group, the owner of the White Claw RTD brand, has announced a change at the top, appointing Phil Rosse as its CEO.
Founder & chair Anthony von Mandl will step back from day-to-day management after 53 years leading the company. Rosse (below) will become only the second CEO in the company’s history, with von Mandl retaining the chair.
Rosse has spent 18 years at Mark Anthony, most recently as vice chair, and previously led its US operations after joining from AB InBev. The company noted that the majority of its 1bn cases sold to date in the country were delivered during his tenure.
“I think of this as the moment to ‘Re-Found’ Mark Anthony, bring renewed, action-driven purpose and drive to our company,” von Mandl said. “With this new leadership structure in place, I am tremendously optimistic about what lies ahead in our journey to together shape the future of the global drinks industry.”
In August, the US supply chain and manufacturing services division of the brand owner outlined plans to cut 143 positions at its facility in New Jersey.
