Campari Group has commenced a marketing activation at Sydney Airport for its Wild Turkey bourbon brand.
Centring around a branded pop-up in Heinemann Duty Free’s shop in Terminal One, the push kicked off at the start of this month and runs until the start of November. The asset includes a tasting bar and portfolio displays, with travellers invited to “customise a Wild Turkey-branded tote bag with a selection of patches featuring brand-inspired icons and motifs”.
According to Campari Group’s global travel retail division, around 650 tastings have been hosted to date at the pop-up.
“Australia is a key market for Wild Turkey,” said Campari Group’s GTR head of marketing & customer channel marketing, Biancamaria Sansone. “As the largest airport in the country, Sydney Airport gives us an important platform to build on this strong position while connecting with travellers from around the world.”
Just over a year ago, Wild Turkey debuted its ‘When You Know It’s Right, Don’t Change a Damn Thing’ global campaign in four countries, including Australia, prior to expanding to all of the whiskey’s markets.
