Heaven Hill has recruited from rival Brown-Forman for a replacement marketing lead following the incumbent’s promotion to lead the group.
Matt Blevins will assume the position of CMO next month. The move calls time on Blevins’ near-18-year stint with Brown-Forman, where he became global brand director for flagship brand Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey at the start of 2020.
The appointment comes three months after Heaven Hill confirmed the appointment of Kate Latts as co-president, along with her husband, Allan. Kate is the daughter of former group president Max Shapira, who is now executive chairman after 36 years of leading the family-owned company.
Earlier this month, Heaven Hill, commenced a marketing activation in the US for the Hpnotiq liqueur brand.
