Agave spirits company Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal has graduated from self-distribution in California to a strengthened tie-up with Republic National Distributing Co in the US state.
Five years after entering California on its own, primarily through online sales, Nosotros this month has added the state to its existing arrangement with RNDC. The distributor already handles the five-year-old company’s portfolio in Arizona and Texas.
Alongside the company’s namesake Blanco and Reposado Tequilas, the stable also includes Nosotros Mezcal and a Madera Añejo Tequila, which launched earlier this year.
Also this week, Tequila peer Cazcabel started the construction of a new distillery in Jalisco. According to brand owner the Vazquez family, the facility will have an annual production capacity of around 12m litres.
