“Campari Group has launched the first RTD variant of its Aperol brand with a canned spritz premix called To Go.

The SKU, a 5%-ABV mix of Aperol with sparkling wine and soda, has been created as a “portable” option that could expand the potential consumption occasions for the brand. Campari Group hopes to “unlock new geographies and recruit new and younger audiences” for Aperol with the extension.

Aperol Spritz To Go will commence its rollout this month and next in the UK across grocery, convenience and wholesale channels. No SRP was immediately available. Campari Group said “additional European markets will follow from April 2026”.

It follows the group’s launch of a 9%-ABV ready-to-serve Aperol Spritz last year. While the RTS version is meant to be served in a glass and was “not made for directly out-of-the bottle consumption”, a company spokesperson told Global Drinks Intel the new RTD “can be consumed straight out of the can … which allows for enjoyment in more locations and occasions”.

“Aperol Spritz has become a symbol of contemporary social style,” said the MD of the brand owner’s House of Aperitifs division, Andrea Neri. “This new ready-to-drink format opens the door to new moments and places while staying true to the spirit that has defined Aperol for over a century.”
