The organiser of the Bar Convent series of on-premise focused trade shows has released further details about next year’s debut in the UK.
Reed Exhibitions, which oversees lead event Bar Convent Berlin through its RX Deutschland unit, has secured Tobacco Dock in east London as the venue for BCB London. The location marks a change from the exhibition’s home of Olympia in the capital, where its predecessor, Imbibe Live, took place this year.
The switch from Imbibe Live to BCB London, which will be held on 30 June and 1 July, was announced by the company earlier this year.
“Following the success and renown of the Berlin show, in recent years BCB has launched in Brooklyn, Singapore and Sao Paulo, and next year, the BCB family will expand to include a new member,” Reed Exhibitions said. “The debut BCB London trade show will … lay down a marker as the new place to be for the British and Irish bar and beverage market.”
Bar Convent Berlin, which took place in the German capital earlier this month, drew 15,114 visitors, which was in line with 2023’s “around 15,000” quoted by the organiser last year. Next year’s show will run from 6 to 8 October.
