Heineken has released Heineken 0.0 Ultimate, another extension of Heineken 0.0, in the US market that is calorie- and sugar-free as well as 0% ABV.
The beer, which was piloted “successfully” last year in an undisclosed number of states, will now be rolled out in “select states” including Florida, New York and Texas. The SRP of the new addition, which will also go on sale in the Netherlands and Poland, was not immediately available.
By comparison, Heineken 0.0 contains 69 calories and 16g of carbohydrates, of which 0g are sugars.
“We pioneered the US non-alcoholic beer category with the launch of Heineken 0.0 in 2019 and are continuing to grow and invest with our newest innovations,” said Heineken USA’s CEO, Maggie Timoney. “With over 13m cases sold, Heineken 0.0 proves that offering more choices empowers everyone to elevate their social experiences on their own terms.
“Heineken 0.0 Ultimate is our answer for the consumer who wants even more choice … .”
The release follows the brand owner’s extension last month of Heineken 0.0 into flavours with Cold Pressed Lime and Nectarine Juniper, also in the US.
