Australian Vintage has penned a sales agreement with domestic seltzers & sodas producer Fellr to “significantly expand” the latter’s distribution footprint.
From this month, Australian Vintage will manage sales for the brand in all Australian states and territories. The length of the deal was not disclosed – Global Drinks Intel has requested further information.
Fellr was launched by Pernod Ricard alumni Andy Skora and Will Morgan in Bondi in 2020. The company’s portfolio includes a range of 4%-ABV seltzers and 6.5%-ABV ‘Double Alcoholic’ sodas, alongside alcoholic ginger beer and a 4%-ABV pink lemonade.
“The new partnership will significantly expand Fellr’s sales reach across Australia and accelerate the brand’s next phase of growth,” Australian Vintage said. “The agreement will see Australian Vintage leverage its established distribution network across all states and territories, strengthening its own beverage portfolio while positioning Fellr for broader expansion.”
In May, Australian Vintage revealed it expected wine brand Poco Vino to “more than double” the size of its portfolio in the coming months. In a filing to the Australian Securities Exchange at the time, the group provided an update on its fiscal second half, which runs until the end of next month.
