Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 1 June.

Spain's MG Destilerías has extended its premium-focused Le Tribute brand beyond its gin and mixers comfort zone to include this no-alcohol bitter aperitif RTD

  • RTD, aperitif, alcohol-free
  • Released this week in European markets, including Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK for both the on- and off-premise channels
  • SRP of EUR2.50 (US$2.90) per 20cl bottle, also available in four-pack SKU

Rémy Cointreau’s Bruichladdich Yellow Submarine III

To mark the 25th anniversary of its "resurrection", Bruichladdich has revisited its Yellow Submarine bottling - the first debuted in 2005 followed by the second in 2018 - which initially marked the appearance of a submarine off Islay's coast "when US Military Intelligence mistakenly flagged Bruichladdich as a potential site for weapons of mass destruction"
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Islands (Islay). Fourteen years old, aged in first-fill ex-bourbon and first- and second-fill ex-French red wine, 54.2% ABV
  • On sale from this week in the US, available online for domestic delivery as well as through selected operators in the country’s off-premise channel
  • SRP of US$134.99 per 75cl bottle, available in limited – albeit unspecified – quantities

Frey Ranch Distillery’s Frey Ranch 10-Year-Old Bourbon, Batch #1

Nevada's Frey Ranch Distillery, which has been in operation since 2014, has unveiled its oldest age-statemented whiskey to date, produced using grain grown on the ranch itself
  • American whiskey, bourbon, Nevada. Features a mashbill consisting of corn (66.6%), rye (11.4%), wheat (10%) and barley (12%), matured for ten years, 51% ABV
  • Available online from this week. “Subsequent batches will be available at bars and retail locations in select markets across the country”
  • SRP of US$99 per 75cl bottle

Gallo’s Four Roses Anthology Chapter One: Origin

Four months after confirming its purchase of Four Roses Distillery, Gallo has overseen the unveiling of an "ultra-premium annual series of rare and highly limited releases" from the business's namesake bourbon brand
  • American whiskey, bourbon, Kentucky, 21 years old. Maturation details not disclosed, 62.5% ABV
  • On sale from 10 July at the Four Roses visitor centre in Kentucky
  • SRP of US$500 per 75cl bottle, limited to “around” 1,200 units

Alcobrew Distilleries India’s Gamber Valley Private Collection 1 and The Vault Series

Distilled "at altitude in the Himalayan heights" of Solan in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, these two expressions represent privately-owned Alcobrew's debut in what the company calls the "luxury segment" as part of its "portfolio repositioning"
  • Whiskies, India, single malts. No age statements, Private Collection 1 has been aged in new oak, The Vault Series in ex-bourbon. Both have an ABV of 46%
  • Launching in India this month, initially in Chandigarh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. “A phased rollout to Rajasthan, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi NCT is planned for upcoming expressions”
  • SRPs of between INR13,000 (US$137) and INR16,000 per 50cl bottle for Private Collection 1, between INR7,000 and INR10,000 per 75cl bottle of The Vault Series

Edrington’s Highland Park Light of Orkney 11 Year Old

At 11 years old, this channel-exclusive is the youngest iteration from Highland Park and is positioned as a "compelling entry point for travel retail consumers"
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Islands (Orkney). Eleven years old, matured in a combination of “sherry-seasoned” American and European oak, ex-bourbon and “select refill”, 40% ABV
  • Released this week to the global travel retail channel worldwide 
  • SRP of US$55 per 75cl bottle
