Australian single malt whisky producer Lark Distilling Co has appointed Paul Bowker as its CFO.
Bowker (below) joins the Tasmanian distiller from Melbourne-based Brick Lane Brewing, which he co-founded. Prior to working on Brick Lane, he served for six years with ASX-listed LogiCamms as CFO and worked as a lawyer for both the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and London firm Linklaters.
Bowker replaces Willian Grant & Sons veteran Iain Short, who joined Lark as CFO in 2023. Short will step down at the end of March and will work “in a transitional capacity” for Bowker, who took up the position on Monday (2 March).
“I’m delighted to welcome Paul to Lark,” said CEO Stuart Gregor. “As the business gets ready to launch our new portfolio into the Australian market and further expand our international footprint, Paul’s experience will be instrumental in supporting Lark in this next phase of growth.”
Gregor joined the business in September after having joined Lark’s board as a non-executive director in 2024. He co-founded gin brand Four Pillars in 2013.
