Australia’s Lark Distilling Co has named Stuart Gregor, the co-founder of Four Pillars Gin, as its next CEO.
Gregor (below), who joined the company’s board as a non-executive director in 2024, will replace Satya ‘Sash’ Sharma at the start of next year. Sharma is stepping down at the end of December after three years in the role to pursue a senior leadership position at a “major global spirits industry player”.
Further details were not disclosed.
Having co-founded Four Pillars in 2013, Gregor helped scale the business into a globally recognised gin brand before its sale to Lion, part of Kirin Group, in 2023. He also co-founded the PR agency Liquid Ideas and previously served as president of the Australian Distillers Association.
Lark Distilling was founded in 1992 and produces a range of Australian single malt whiskies as well as a raft of craft gins.
Earlier this month, De Kuyper Royal Distillers revealed it is launching its Archers peach liqueur in Australia on 1 October, as part of the company’s wider international growth strategy for the brand.
