UK-based Neurita Tequila has secured financial backing from its distillery partner Grupo PSA.
The investment, financial details of which were not disclosed, will support the female-founded brand’s international expansion in 2026, with a focus on the US market. It follows Neurita’s move earlier this year to work with Grupo PSA on a 100% agave range, including a premium blanco expression and updated packaging designed to position the brand for wider distribution.
Founder & CEO Lucy Smith said the partnership would help accelerate the brand’s ambition to “redefine how modern consumers – especially women – experience tequila”. Grupo PSA CEO Antonio García de Quevedo said Neurita had “enormous global potential” as flavoured and approachable styles gain traction in the category.
Earlier this week, Teremana Tequila rolled out a marketing campaign for the holiday season in the US that looks to give back to hospitality workers.
