Italian liqueur producer La Molinari is preparing to roll out its sambuca and limoncello brands to a clutch of markets in Asia Pacific and Central Asia.
The family-owned business has signed a deal with Hong Kong-based Eclipse Beverages, part of brand management, importation and distribution company Metagroup, to launch Molinari Sambuca and Limoncello Di Capri in “more than 25 markets”. The businesses did not disclose the specific countries that the two brands will debut in.
“These dynamic markets are experiencing an exciting rise in cocktail culture and demand for premium Italian products,” said Eclipse Beverages’ export director, Adam Green. “Molinari and Limoncello Di Capri are ideally positioned to capture this momentum, and we look forward to building their presence across Asia Pacific and Central Asia.”
Eclipse Beverages currently works with companies and brands including Pernod Ricard, Amaro Montenegro, Stauning Whisky, Finlandia vodka and Cincoro tequila.
In June, Luxardo, another Italian liqueur producer and brand owner, appointed Chimera Brand Development as its latest distributor in the UK.
