Jackson Family Wines is set to replace Winebow as the US distributor for some of the brands in fine wine group Boisset Collection’s portfolio.
The tie-up, announced late last week, will cover Boisset’s California, Burgundy and French sparkling portfolio from the start of next month. Meanwhile, in California, Regal Wine Co became Boisset’s exclusive distributor on 7 July, representing the company’s brands across both the on- and off-premise channels in the state.
The agreement with Jackson Family Wines covers the Raymond Vineyards, Buena Vista Winery, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset, LVE by John Legend, Jean-Claude Boisset, Bouchard Aîné et Fils, Louis Bernard and Charles de Fère brands nationwide. Regal Wine Co, which was set up by Jackson’s founders, Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke, in 1993, will handle all of these marks in California.
Meanwhile, Winebow will continue as the national sales partner – and California distributor – for Boisset’s DeLoach Vineyards, Elizabeth Spencer, J. Moreau & Fils, Domaine Maire, Mommessin, Laboure-Roi and Bonpas brands.
Boisset Collection, founded in Burgundy and led by Jean-Charles Boisset, covers around 30 wineries in France and California.
Earlier this year, Jackson Family Wines launched its first range of wines from France’s Loire Valley.
