The company said the addition marks a “significant milestone in solidifying” its position as a “powerhouse Oregon producer at 300,000 cases”.

US-based Stoller Wine Group has acquired Oregon brand Elouan from California’s Copper Cane Wines & Provisions.

The company, also based in the same US state as the brand, said the deal “substantially expands the distribution footprint across the country in both on- and off-premise channels”. Financial details around the transaction, confirmed this week, were not disclosed.

Stoller Wine Group, which owns the Stoller Family Estate, Chehalem Winery, Chemistry, Stoller Swing and History brands, said the addition marks a “significant milestone in solidifying” its position as a “powerhouse Oregon producer at 300,000 cases”.

“Elouan is the number-three-selling pinot noir from Oregon across the country,” said Stoller president Gary Mortensen. “We are excited about how it will enhance our overall portfolio by leveraging their existing network to get our world-class wines into the hands of consumers.”

In other wine M&A news, Constellation Brands finalised the offload of its “mainstream” wine brands to California-based The Wine Group earlier this month.
