New Zealand’s Broken Shed Vodka has reorganised its senior executive set-up, with Paul Criscuolo set to become president.

Criscuolo will assume the position from 1 May and lead the company’s North America operations, having served as chief commercial officer since 2019. Subsequently, current president Steve Bellini will move to the newly created role of chief operating officer, in a move “to capitalise on the current growth trajectory of the brand”.

Broken Shed, which is based in Wanaka in New Zealand’s South Island, added that its US sales have increased by 40% year-on-year for the last four years during Bellini’s watch.

“Our team is strong and growing, these changes will ensure the brand is poised to take advantage of market opportunities in the premium, imported vodka category,” said CEO John Fitzgerald. “We are thrilled to have Steve now lead our global expansion efforts as COO.”

Last month, UK-based Ellers Farm Distillery signed Opici Wine & Spirits to handle importation duties for its Dutch Barn vodka brand in the US.
