The designs leverage two expressions of single malt The Glenlivet and the 21-year-old Signature Blend from Royal Salute. All three are on sale now in time for this year’s festivities, which take place on Saturday 10 February.
The Glenlivet’s duo are the 18-Year-Old (SRP of US$174.99) and Rare Cask ($160) iterations, the latter of which is a global travel retail exclusive. Royal Salute’s ‘Lunar New Year Celebratory Release’, put together by Chinese-born artist Yunshu Li, has a price point of $200 per unit.
Details of the duration of availability were not disclosed.
The Glenlivet earned a namecheck from Pernod Ricard in its fiscal first quarter results announcement in October last year. While specific performance figures were not revealed, the brand was credited with playing a positive role in the three months to the end of September, despite the group’s sales dipping in the period by 2% on the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
Half-year figures, which will contain more commentary from the company, are scheduled to be announced on Thursday 15 February.
