Spirits sales in the US – May 2023 – data

Once a month, the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association releases data covering sales of spirits in the Control States of the US. Here’s a look at the numbers for May. What at first glance looks to have been a strong month for spirits in the Control States must be caveated by May having had 11 additional sales days compared to the same month a year earlier - Michigan was at +7 days, while Alabama, Mississippi, Montana and North Carolina each had an extra day.
