Heaven Hill Brands is leaning into the hip-hop and modern technology credentials of Hpnotiq in a marketing activation for the liqueur brand in the US.

The privately-owned company has kicked off a campaign in its home market centred around an augmented reality (AR) camera app and 4,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for Hpnotiq. Fronting the activity, which can be viewed here, is Grammy-nominated hip-hop musician Guapdad 4000.

As well as offering physical prizes to LDA consumers who redeem their NFTs, ‘In Real Life’ “scavenger hunts” will also take place in Atlanta and New York City using QR codes.

With an ABV of 17%, Hpnotiq contains Cognac and vodka blended with tropical fruit juices.
