Chile’s Viña Concha y Toro has opened Centro del Vino, a 12,000-square-metre visitor destination in Pirque, near the country’s capital, Santiago.
The venue, which was first announced in 2022, features six “thematic areas” including a tasting zone, a multisensory experience and a cellar tour. A visit includes a 120-minute guided tour, available in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
The group, which also holds production assets and brands in Argentina and the US, said the goal of the project is to “elevate Chile’s wine tourism offering to the highest international standards”.
Last month, Concha’s US division announced plans to switch its distribution partners in California later this year.
