Non-alcoholic wine brand Prima Pavé has agreed a distribution tie-up with Gruppo Italiano Vini in the latter’s namesake domestic market.
The arrangement, which will result in Prima Pavé’s Blanc de Blancs and Rosé Brut varietals becoming more widely available in both the on- and off-premise channels nationwide, is effective immediately. Global Drinks Intel has enquired about who previously handled the alcohol-free brand’s distribution in Italy.
The Blanc de Blancs and Rosé Brut are currently on sale for US$28 per 75cl bottle on the company’s website. Prima Pavé also makes a Grand Cuvée which retails at $35 for a bottle. The company was founded in the US and is present in 14 international markets.
“Words can’t describe the magnitude of our newly-secured partnership with Gruppo Italiano Vini given Italy’s significance in our overall story as well as the importance of Italy from a winemaking perspective,” said Prima Pavé’s founder, Marco Marano.
In April, Henkell Freixenet bolstered its alcohol-free sparkling wine portfolio with two additions to its Freixenet brand.
