Brown-Forman has teamed up with local businesses in Paris for a Global Travel Retail activation in the city’s main airport for American whiskey brand Woodford Reserve.

From 30 August to 26 September a “pop-up lounge experience” will run at Charles De Gaulle Airport for the whiskey. Located in Terminal 2E, the site will offer a menu of Woodford Reserve-based cocktails put together by Paris’ Little Red Door bar. At the same time, the company has recruited La Maison du Chocolat, also based in the city, to create a “special bonbon” to pair with the brand.

During the month-long run, the bar will host tastings of limited expressions, including whiskies from the ‘Master’s Collection’ as well as the Cognac-finished Baccarat Edition. At the same time, a limited-edition Woodford Reserve bottle featuring the phrase ‘From Paris With Love’ on the label will be available, along with customisable gift tags.

Brown-Forman, which in June posted a 17% sales increase from the 12 months to the end of April, will report its fiscal first-quarter results on 31 August.
