Suntory Global Spirits has released a limited-edition gift pack for Islay single malt scotch Bowmore in the global travel retail channel.
The pack, which features designs inspired by an Indian style of fabric block printing called Kalamkari, is being rolled out for the brand’s 14-year-old iteration, which debuted in 2024 as part of GTR-exclusive series Bowmore Appellations. The launch will be accompanied by marketing activity “across the festive season”, including a Diwali-timed push in Delhi Duty Free.
The Hibiki, Maker’s Mark & Laphroaig brand owner said the campaign will focus on “key locations”, naming Bengaluru and London as well as Delhi. Activity will involve “immersive activations” such as a chocolate-pairing experience, and gift-with-purchase offers.
Suntory Global Spirits’ MD for GTR Middle East and Africa, Vanessa Widmann, said: “Diwali is an important time of celebration, connection and gifting for millions of people around the world. We are delighted to collaborate with our travel retail partners on this special-edition that celebrates the artistry of Kalamkari and offers travellers a distinctive gift for the festive season.”
