Rémy Cointreau has unveiled a second appearance of actor Aubrey Plaza for its namesake liqueur flagship.
Plaza, who was first recruited by the brand owner in 2023, once again pushes the margarita serve with the introduction of ‘Any Tequila’ in a marketing push that was launched yesterday (12 June). The ‘MargaRight’ campaign’s 30-second spot (below) will appear across Cointreau’s digital and social media channels as well as through paid-for platforms including connected TV, YouTube and social media.
“At Cointreau, we do believe that making the perfect margarita should be simple,” said Rémy Cointreau’s Americas’ CEO, Nicolas Beckers. “With Aubrey Plaza and Any Tequila, we’re bringing that message to life in a way that’s both memorable and unmistakably ‘MargaRight’ – reminding everyone that Cointreau is, and always has been, the essential ingredient in the margarita.”
Earlier this month and five weeks after booking its eighth consecutive quarter of declining sales, Rémy Cointreau chose to withdraw its longstanding forecasts to 2029-30.
