Ukraine’s Nemiroff has secured sponsorship arrangements for its namesake vodka with two soccer teams in the UK.
English Premier League teams Aston Villa and West Ham United have each agreed “multi-year partnerships” with the brand, the company announced this month. The two separate deals, financial details of which were not disclosed, will see Nemiroff feature in both clubs’ stadia on matchdays.
According to the brand owner, the “strategic milestones” form part of its aim to “engage with new audiences, solidify its position in a key market and pave the way for continued international expansion”.
“Our long-standing history of global sports partnerships makes this collaboration a thrilling next step into the world of football,” said CEO Yuriy Sorochynskiy. “(This) is a thrilling next step for Nemiroff as we continue to showcase the … character of Ukrainian craftsmanship on the world stage.”
Back in January, Nemiroff confirmed a change of CMO, with Mykola Takzey joining to replace Irina Zhygunova.
