Moët Hennessy has announced a refreshed version of the sherry-finished Glenmorangie Lasanta by increasing its age statement.
The extension of the single malt scotch whisky will now be aged for 15 years rather than the previous 12, which had been the case since 2010. The spirit is also now aged in a combination of ex-sherry and -bourbon casks.
Carrying an ABV of 43%, the reimagined Lasanta has an SRP in the UK of GBP54 (US$69) per 70cl bottle and will be available to purchase in the country from April at the brand’s website and the Glenmorangie visitor centre in the UK.
Last summer, Moët Hennessy commenced the roll-out of an updated version of The Original, Glenmorangie’s entry-level expression, which is two years older than its predecessor.
