All three expressions of Teremana – Blanco, Reposado and Añejo – will become available to GTR operators worldwide this month, the Germany-based group confirmed this week. At the same time, the brand, founded by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson four years ago, will look to hit “selected domestic markets” over the course of this year.
Privately-owned Mast-Jägermeister acquired an unspecified size stake in Teremana in early 2022. In the US, the brand’s Blanco carries an SRP of US$29.99 per 75cl bottle, while the Reposado is priced at $32.99 and the Añejo costs $39.99.
Also set to target GTR is Gin Sul, the brand into which Mast-Jägermeister completed an investment almost six years ago. More specific details about the brands’ expansions will be announced “soon”.
“We are the exclusive distribution partner across all markets for Teremana and Gin Sul,” said GTR VP Tobias Witte. “We are especially thrilled to showcase Teremana to a diverse, global consumer audience in key international airports.
“We have exciting plans in place to establish the footprint of both brands and look forward to bringing them to fruition in the coming months and years.”
Just over five months ago, Mast-Jägermeister recruited Berndt Kodden from FrieslandCampina to head up its ‘international’ operations.
