The spirits division of White Claw owner Mark Anthony Group has a new MD, with Enda OSullivan making way for Brendan Buckley.
The spirits business, which sits under the Mark Anthony Brands International subsidiary based in Dublin, welcomed Buckley (below) as its MD last month. Buckley’s beverage alcohol background includes two stints with Pernod Ricard, both with Irish Distillers, from 2001 to 2007 and from 2008 to April last year.
His last role at the Jameson Irish whiskey owner was as global marketing director for almost five years with Irish Distillers.
OSullivan started with Mark Anthony back in 2020, moving across from William Grant & Sons, where he was MD of Latin America. He stepped down from the VP of global spirits post last week following a transition period with Buckley. “After some time to re-charge with family, (I am) now refreshed and looking forward to diving into a new adventure in the coming weeks,” he said in a LinkedIn post over the weekend.
Almost exactly two years ago, Mark Anthony Group added a vodka extension to its White Claw RTD brand’s portfolio. The company also owns the Glendalough Irish whiskey and Bearface Canadian whisky brands.
