Ian Macleod Distillers has rolled out a change of packaging for two iterations of its Glengoyne single malt scotch brand.
The boxes for the 18-Year-Old Highland and 21-Year-Old Sherry Oak whiskies (below) are now fully recyclable, while the pair’s bottles also use 49% recycled glass. The liquid for both offerings remains unchanged.
The refresh features a gatefold design that opens to reveal a photograph by local photographer Richard Fox, depicting the view from Dumgoyne Hill – the landmark overlooking the glen that is home to Glengoyne Distillery.
In the UK, the 18-Year-Old has an SRP of GBP125 per 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The older single malt is available at GBP200 per 70cl bottle at the same strength.
In April, Ian Macleod rolled out a marketing campaign for its Edinburgh Gin brand in the UK.
