Brown-Forman has confirmed the appointment of Nick Mogford as the next director of its global travel retail operations.
Mogford (below), who has been with the Jack Daniel’s owner since 2012, has been promoted from his most recent role as international key account director. He took on his new responsibilities at the start of this month and will be based in London, Brown-Forman said.
The news is the result of GTR MD David Rodiek’s decision to leave the company. Rodiek has been with the group since 2005, moving up to lead the division in mid-2022. According to the company, he “will pursue new opportunities outside of Brown-Forman”. Further details were not disclosed.
In its latest set of results, covering the 12 months to the end of April, the GTR business delivered a 6% increase in sales against an “exceptionally high comparison a year earlier”. Brown-Forman will report its numbers from the three months to the end of July on 29 August.
