Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 9 March.


Highclere Castle Gin Peach Rose
Highclere Castle Spirits, which is based on the Highclere estate in the south of England, has unveiled the first flavour extension of its namesake gin brand

  • Debuting in the US this month, rolling out to both the on- and off-premise channels as well as online for direct-to-consumer

King Car Group’s Kavalan 15 Year Old

Kavalan 15 year old bottle and box
Initially launched last year, this age-statemented expression - Kavalan's first - has arrived in the UK this week through new distribution partner Marussia Beverages
  • Whisky, single malt, Taiwan, 15 years old, 43% ABV
  • Released in the UK this week
  • SRP of GBP149 (US$200) per 70cl bottle

La Martiniquaise-Bardinet’s Glen Moray Forbidden Fruit

Glen Moray Forbidden Fruit bottle and box
Glen Moray's Xperience Collection line of bottlings has been joined by a third iteration, which has been finished in ex-calvados casks
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Speyside. No age statement, matured in ex-bourbon and then finished for an unspecified period in ex-calvados, 40% ABV
  • Released in the UK next month through spirits specialists in the off-premise channel and through retail multiple Morrisons in Scotland
  • SRP of GBP32 (US$43) per 70cl bottle

Diageo’s Oban Aged 15 Years Port Cask Finish

This second release from Oban's 15-Year-Old cask-finished series follows May's Sherry Cask Finish expression
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Highlands, 15 years old. Matured in American oak hogsheads, then finished for an unspecified period in American oak ex-port casks, 52.1% ABV
  • Debuting in the US this week, both through off-premise spirits specialists and online for domestic delivery 
  • SRP of US$130 per 75cl bottle

Aplós Dragon Fruit Martini

Aplós Dragon Fruit Martini can
Functional non-alc spirits brand Aplós has added a fourth variant to its RTD line in the US
  • RTD, uses non-alc spirit Aplós Arise, which contains adaptogens including duntheanine, moringa and ginseng, as its base, flavoured with dragon fruit, 0% ABV
  • Rolling out nationwide in the US this week through the off-premise channel and online for domestic delivery
  • SRP not immediately available

Pernod Ricard’s Lillet Blanc 0%

Lillet 0.0 bottle
Released in time for what the company calls "apéritif season", the 0%-ABV version of Lillet debuts in two European markets next month
  • Aperitif, comprises de-alcoholised French wines with “fruit infusions and other key ingredients”, 0% ABV
  • Released next month in Austria and Germany
  • SRP of EUR15.99 (US$18.60) per 75cl bottle
