Heineken’s Ireland division has signed up its portfolio as a sponsor of next year’s edition of the Ryder Cup golf tournament.
The brewing giant will assume the title of ‘official beer, cider and stout supplier’ of bars and hospitality venues during the Ireland leg, which will take place at Adare Manor in County Limerick next September. The deal covers the Heineken mark & Heineken 0.0 extension as well as Birra Moretti, Murphy’s, Beamish, Orchard Thieves and RTD brand Served.
“It is a privilege for Heineken Ireland to partner with the Ryder Cup, an iconic global sporting event,” said Heineken Ireland MD Sharon Walsh. “As a business rooted in Ireland, with a portfolio of some of the country’s most loved beer, cider and stout brands, we are proud to play our part in welcoming spectators from more than 80 countries.
“Heineken has a long-standing connection with world-class sport and premium live experiences, and golf is no exception. For more than 30 years we have supported the Irish Open through Heineken’s role as official beer partner of the event since 2022 and prior to that through Murphy’s Irish Stout title sponsorship from 1994 to 2002. Over the next 12 months, we look forward to working closely with the Ryder Cup team to deliver a high-quality, memorable fan experience, from first pour to final putt.”
Last year, Cîroc secured “official vodka partner” status for the next season of the TCL team-golf league in the US.
