Jägermeister brand owner Mast-Jägermeister has redrawn its regional leadership structure as UK MD Michael Cleary moves up to the VP role for Northern & Western Europe.
Cleary, who has been with the privately-owned company since 2014, initially joined as regional director for Western Europe. A move to the UK to become the market MD ensued in 2019, before Northern & Western Europe were added to his remit at VP level at the start of this year. Earlier this week, Mast-Jägermeister said Cleary (below) “is moving to a broader role as VP for Western & Northern Europe”.
Replacing him as MD of Jägermeister UK is Patricia Sung (below), who during her 15 years with the group to-date, spent the last six as VP of Western Europe. Sung joined the company as marketing director for China in mid-2015.
While the two moves appear to have taken effect from January, according to LinkedIn, the official announcement was posted, again on the business social media platform, by the company this week.
Earlier this year, Mast-Jägermeister lined up a change of CMO, with former Diageo, Heineken and Treasury Wine Estates executive Dougal McGeorge taking up the position from the start of this month.
