La Martiniquaise-Bardinet has unveiled a packaging revamp for the ‘Explorer’ line of bottlings from single malt Scotch whisky Glen Moray.
The six-strong range, all of which are matured in ex-Bourbon barrels with four undergoing finishes in other casks, will benefit from a more contemporary look. Changes include “a deeper, more vibrant” shade of blue on the boxes and labels, alongside a colour palette to “reflect the flavours”.
The update will apply worldwide and takes effect this week.
Glen Moray’s Explorer range comprises:
- Our Classic
- Smoky Classic – Peated Malt
- Double Cask – Sherry Cask Finish
- Double Cask – Port Cask Finish
- Double Cask – Chardonnay Cask Finish
- Double Cask – Cabernet Cask Finish
As well as the single malt, France-based La Martiniquaise-Bardinet also owns the Label 5 and Cutty Sark blended Scotches, acquiring the latter from Edrington for an undisclosed sum in 2018.
