Mast-Jägermeister has firmed up the US distribution tie-up for its portfolio with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
The Germany-headquartered brand owner signed a “multi-year” extension with Southern Glazer’s this week, five years after initially bunking up with the distributor. Both companies referenced recent successes in the US for both the namesake liqueur brand and Teremana tequila, which Mast-Jägermeister acquired a stake in last year.
The CEO of Mast-Jägermeister US, Joe Fortune, said: “This agreement enables us to unlock new opportunities and enhance the presence of Jägermeister and Teremana across the US.”
Southern Glazer’s head, Wayne Chaplin, added: “We are proud to continue our journey together, leveraging our combined strengths to further expand the reach of the … Jägermeister and Teremana brands.”
In March, Southern Glazer’s purchased Miami-based ‘Atlantic Basin’ distribution business WEBB Banks.
