Jackson Family Wines has released the first sparkling wine from its Kendall-Jackson brand, with the debut of Vintner’s Reserve Brut Cuvée in the US.

The 11%-ABV varietal (below) is composed of French colombard, chardonnay and pinot noir, all sourced from California. It will retail nationwide at US$20, marking an expansion of the Vintner’s Reserve range beyond still wine.

JFW noted that the $15–to-$25 price bracket, in which the new release sits, has emerged as a “sweet spot for value-premium offerings”. The wine is described as a fruit-forward brut expression designed to meet what the company believes is a consumer demand for approachable, high-quality sparkling wines from trusted producers.

In July, JFW replaced Winebow as the US distributor for some of the brands in fine wine group Boisset Collection’s portfolio.
